My store ran out of straws a week or so ago and I did question how we were supposed to give customers fraps without straws lol

i just let people know when theyre ordering that we dont have any, somehow most of them forget by the time they get to the window and pitch a fit over it

When we run out of straws we offer a flat lid if they want even tho they kinda thick to drink or a spoon if they want that 😂 It’s better than nothing

My store has been out of venti straws for 2 weeks, must customers are mostly understanding. There are a few that give a nasty face and some rude remark and I don’t I understand why? It’s not us baristas fault there are shortages and we all would love to give you the straw you want. I get their frustration but why take it out on people that can’t do anything about it?!?!?!

i had someone claim we were keeping straws from them bc they also thought the stir sticks were straws. after 15 minutes of this lady going on and on about how they were, in fact, straws i grabbed a stir stick and opened it in front of her to prove that i wasn’t lying. shut her right up
