The package literally says "warm butter side down" on every sandwich. Not really a debate.

When it first came out years ago it said butter side up. Then it went away came back again as the current form, still assume it's up.

Butter side down, and then before you take it out of the oven, flip it over to soak up what’s melted off and then it doesn’t fly at you

standard is however it comes out of the package. if i have time it’s butter side up so it doesn’t just turn totally into toast on the other side
