Normal for the bathroom trash to have toilet paper with poop? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by pompous-pomeranian
I’ve been doing pre-close and lately changing the bathroom trash; there’s been toilet paper with large wads of poop on it, and it makes the entire bathroom reek; is this normal? I’m surprised since I’ve done pre-close a lot and have never encountered this problem.

People are disgusting and for some reason Starbucks bathrooms are always disgusting. It’s happened at both stores I work at.

We need better ventilation in the bathrooms.

It sucks cleaning up but the customer may be from another country where plumbing isn’t very good, so they are used to trashing their toilet paper & may not know they can flush it here. Or it’s someone being a dick

I’d rather take this than have white water on the toilet and floor. ☹️

Not sure we got rid of the restroom trashes when the lobbies opened back up

Um wtf? What about period products? Where do those go, do you just carry them out to the lobby? Would hate to work there as a girl...

Nah there's a mini trash next to the toilet just for that kind of stuff

Do you guys also have changing tables in your bathrooms? Could be from people changing their babies diapers and having too much tp/wet wipes/diapers that they can’t just flush.

We don't, and if they're using tp, I'd expect them to use the toilet. What’s also weird is that the toilet is closer situated to the tp than the trash can. I know it’s silly, but I’m kinda perplexed.

In most third world countries they don’t flush tp ever. There is a tiny garage can next to the toilet. It could be a cultural thing.
