About to reapply... wish me luck :/ (self.starbucksbaristas)

Left the Bux half a year ago for a better job at a retail store. Said store shut down permanently and I had to take the next available job. It's awful and honestly puts Starbucks in a better light. I really, really don't want to go back but I need money and it's the first place I've heard back from, hell I still have aprons, sharpies, and blue safety knives at the ready. I feel sick to my stomach; I don't think I can mentally handle the stress of going back but it's that or ramen every night while I search for a new job. And Starbucks is now paying way more than when I left. And I have to think about my cats too... Someone please remind me of some positives? I already have an interview lined up (with my prior experience, I expected to easily get a quick response).

I’m about to be in the very same boat. I am flat broke now and can’t survive another month, I have been searching for other jobs to no avail. I went to the Starbucks careers page last month and immediately had a panic attack upon the page loading… but I think I’m out of options now.

About to go back too :/ I took a new job that I love but the pay is god awful so I need another part time job. I’ve applied elsewhere but havent heard back from anywhere so I’m thinking I’ll have to come back :(

I'm fairly new but I enjoy the food and drink benefits. I was broke when I first started (still am) and being able to eat at work for free really helped. I'm definitely going to do the ASU program..I don't wanna be working here forever and a paid for degree will surely help
