Iced chai lattes

I love the iced chai latte 😋

This because my iced coffee is at the other end of the bar. Far away. Chai is right there with the milk and then run down or pass for ice. Lid. Boom done.

The only thing that makes black americanos and hot chai difficult (more time consuming than difficult) for me is that the hot water we use is near the brewed coffee so I have to walk over there, and when it’s crowded behind the bar I go slowly to avoid accidentally bumping into someone.

There technically is a hot water spout near the bar but one of my coworkers said that sometimes the water that comes out of there smells a bit funky so he stopped using it. Other people still do out of convenience but I stopped as well.

Here’s a cool flat white trick I learned: if you let the shots pour down the inside of the cup instead of straight down the middle so it hits the bottom, it will be a lot smoother and less bubbles! I hate flat whites when I’m busy but I do love them when I actually have time to make them nicely.

Hot water takes too long, venti americanos take too long to pull shoots too! It’s sure easy but not easiest for me

I think it’s because u can pull the shots and then get everything else for the drink done while it’s pulling, then you throw the shots in do some caramel drizzle and bam you’re done! I like making them too :)
