This is why we need supervised use centers in communities :/ this poses a hazard to workers. Side note, I highly recommend carrying narcan at work especially if you work in a store that has frequent PWUDs using in the restroom. Unfortunately fucking EVERYTHING has fentanyl in it these days (even “uppers” like coke/crack etc) which puts folks at high risk of overdose. You can get Narcan for free through harm reduction programs or pharmacies in most areas and they will train you how to administer it. There are also free online harm reduction centers that will do online trainings and mail it to you at 0 cost. You could be the reason someone survives an overdose and makes it to recovery to please look it up! I don’t use nor am I close with any users that I know of but I still carry Narcan everywhere because I have lost acquaintances and friends to overdose in the past. Also to anyone who is actively using, please look into carrying Narcan and also harm reduction programs that send kits for you to test your supply! Okay, off my soapbox.
