Hiya!!
I’ve been a barista at other coffee shops before but just got a job at Starbucks (in the UK) for the first time. I’m going in for my first day tomorrow, I’ve been told it’s to - I was curious as to what to expect? I’ve been polishing up my knowledge on coffees and all that just so I’m not behind, but wanted to know exactly what the process you guys go through is. How long is training usually and what does it entail? Is there any online training? Also do you generally have any tips for someone just starting?

The first week you read up on every position, safety, the history of Starbucks, and learn all about coffee with done hands on training here and there.
