Random customer connection question…(self.starbucksbaristas)

What does it look like from a customer’s perspective to rate our customer connection? Like I understand their ratings/responses is what makes our score, but like what do they do while rating? I’ve never done it before as the only time I get anything from Starbucks is during my shift so I’m never buying anything. I’m really curious as to what it asks and how the rating is done.

Customers with rewards accounts will occasionally get an email asking to rate their visit. There are several prompts on the survey that they can rate from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree). One of the prompts is “the barista made an effort to get to know me.” Your customer connection score is the percentage of people who respond to that with a 7.
