so I’m working my first opening shift tomorrow, and I’m nervous! what specific tasks do we do in opening? And what other things should I expect?

At my store it goes
Shift: money and shift lead things...idk
barista 1: make iced coffee, drip coffee, and tea pitchers, fill ice, make sure all bar items are stocked (beans, milks, syrups, etc.)
barista 2: fill display case, day dot and stock all food items

These are the tasks at my store, not sure if it’s the same at others. Keep in mind you’ll be opening with someone else so you’ll only do part of these.
Brew iced coffee,
Brew the drip coffees,
Make the tea pitchers ,
Clean Drains,
Do the food display case
then when the the store opens try not to stress too much! in my opinion time goes by fast bc my stores peak is in the morning. hehe good luck
