No need for suit and tie. Button up and nice jeans/pants is fine. Expect behavioral based questions, ie: ‘tell me a story about when you___’
If you don’t love getting to know strangers, it won’t be a good fit for you. You’ll need to have a story of how you’ve initiated a connection with a customer or stranger in the past or provide vivid examples of how you would do so if you never have. Listen carefully to the questions as we will notice if your answer doesn’t match the question. But most importantly, be a human. Human connection is key to being a successful partner at starbucks, so being able to sit down with this stranger-manager and walk away after feeling like you got to know each other fairly well is what you wanna achieve. (But of course still answer the questions as we have to take notes over them haha)

- suit & tie is very much overkill! just stick to a nice, plain shirt paired with clean looking jeans or slacks. it’s really casual wear, promise.
- questions you should expect are how you’d handle customers, experience with customers and customer service, experience working with a team, etc. standard stuff tbh, i don’t think there’s gonna be anything you won’t know how to answer
- to stand out would just to be really open and extroverted throughout the interview. starbucks is all about “the starbucks experience” so just showing that you’re extremely excited and happy to work there is definitely something that would help
