Rubbing alcohol!

that’s what made it worse😭😭😭should I spend way more time on it?

Yes! Put clean paper towels (tons) behind it and blot with more clean paper towels. As soon as the paper towels take up ink, use another clean one. It will take one or more 16 ounce containers of isopropyl alcohol. Or Vodka… I’ve used that too. Sharpies are the Devil!!!

thank you! I’ll try this

I’d just get a new apron lmfao
zzid2d2110 points1y ago
That would be the easiest thing, but red aprons are rationed at some places!!

they are at mine:( not everyone has even one and I’ve seemingly destroyed mine lol

I’m not sure how you used the rubbing alcohol but soak the area in it and dab off the excess … it’s big so I think it might get worse until it’s better. Keep washing until it out. Don’t dry until it is.

rubbing alcohol but do not rub it!! dab it. it'll take some time and a lot of paper towels, but it'll come out.
source: my best friends an lvn that notoriously washes her scrubs with pens in the pocket. i've saved many a pair.

i don’t know any details, have never tried it myself, but i have heard that hairspray works great for sharpie!

You can always get a new apron from your store or maybe a neighboring one. We don't have to pay for uniforms so

Maybe more alcohol and a bunch of soap immediately, hey who know maybe even a magic eraser could help

Hair spray works

I use a weird pink soap bar called Zote, It take multiple washes and multiple times rubbing it but it definitely makes some ink come off each time, find it on Amazon, Walmart, lowes and I think even CVS has them

It's probably too late now but hairspray would have done it
SisterAndromeda20071 points1y ago
Don't rub the alcohol, dab it.

Is it regular pen ink? or Sharpie? if it's the former, try soaking it in milk for a bit! I know it sounds weird but i promise it does the trick sometimes! just remember to wash it right after (obviously)! as for Sharpie, your best bet is probably rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover!
