in the weekly update it says it’s one red cup for every holiday drink purchased not just one for every order

It was like that last year, seemed like it was that way for a while. Many SUPER frustrated customers when they order the wrong thing. Just like BOGO frappucino happy hour: angry customer: why tf isn't it half price?! Me: ooh sorry, you ordered a tall. It only applies to grande or bigger. Read the fine print. I mean, i usually ask a shift to if they go back and change it, the customer is always right after all! but I do not know who these promotions help except for higher ups and stock holders. We make a lot of money, but we also get SO MANY pissed off customers, ridiculous wait times and burnt out partners. Is it worth it? Oh, and that was like 6 months ago when we were fully staffed with people really good at their job.

Can’t even tell you how many freaking recovery cards we gave out today <\3

Doesn't matter! They still made tons of money! Even with the refunds and lost labor, still a drop in the bucket comparatively. I stopped in just to reload my card, and saw I think 3 refunds in that time. I started reading "Onward: How Starbucks Fought for Its Life Without Losing Its Soul" by Howard Schultz who is definitely no longer part of the company and it shows. Didn't make it past the introduction before rage quitting.

We just gave them to everyone who ordered a handcrafted beverage. We didn't want to deal with that nonsense of explaining to customers why they don't get one during peak.

It’s still one cup per order

Ok thank you! My manager said it's a cup per holiday drink ordered and this isn't the first time she's straight up lied about shit so like its annoying as fuck when I question my own knowledge. Like I knew I was right and then im like ok maybe it changed. I hate my store sm

No you’re right. It’s one cup per drink. It literally said that in the weekly update.
