I only broke down crying once today! And it was after work from stress so… Yay? One more than usual but one is better than ten I guess

Most of me didn't.

Got put on my worst position through peak (front PoS), got told to "pay more attention" (I have ADHD and APD), and got told, when I was on the brink of tears, that I was being demeaning by a SSV because I wasn't speaking right (again: brink of tears, neurodivergent, can barely understand what people are saying), and I guess that came across as rude.

So I spent the next two hours crying while working the front register and then had a total breakdown on my lunch break, and came back in with my face bruised up.

Oh, but I got Chick-fil-A fries to show how much my manager appreciates me (except I didn't actually get the fries; they just told me that).

And now I get to go back in in under an hour, and again tomorrow morning.

I died but I still have to open tomorrow so

I got super lucky my DT store was closed due to renovations (mainly because we got our parking lot repaved) and I got put at a Cafe only store and the store manager was pushing those cups on people to get rid of them. So it wasn't too bad but I almost lot I on a couple impatient people who don't understand that your order is made in order.

9 hours later… I feel like death.

Couldn’t work today even if I was scheduled, had pretty hight fever Tuesday night

Honestly was expecting worse. Although I only started at noon. It was busy as hell but seeing customers leave when I told them we sold out within minutes of being open filled me with joy

The first customer of the day tried to argue with us because she thought if she ordered ten holiday drinks she got ten red cups

My store still has 63 cups. It’s red cup day(s) over here

Alive, but I fear my grip strength will never recover after doing my 7th day in a row of support. Whipped creams are brutal when you already have repetitive motion injuries.

I survived but wanted to lose my shit on every customer who wanted to act like a fucking child about tHe ReD cUpS

I absolutely ate shit this morning half an hour into my shift. Had to spend the rest of it covered in mud. Trained a new barista on front. And then proceeded to nearly eat shit every single time I tried to walk.

My store had so many we gave them away with non-holiday drink purchases and supplied other stores, although our sales almost doubled today because other stores in the district turned off mobile orders which drove traffic to my store.

My arms were hurting from barring so much, my neck was hurting from looking down so much, I spilled steamed milk on my hands a couple of times today and was too busy to care… tired but alive
