People who buy all of the studded cups available. (self.starbucksbaristas)

This happened the other day. A girl bought all five of our Christmas diamond studded cups. She paid entirely with stars. She said it was for gifts. Now we’re completely out of studded cups. How do you guys feel about people who do this?

I don't give a shit lol, maybe corporate should send us more cups instead of blaming customers

I’m not upset about it. I just think it’s a little odd. I do agree that we need to get more cups in our shipments.

When I worked in a licensed store, we got *all* the cups which is what I'm assuming is happening now with the shortages. We sold probably $15k in just cups per launch (I was inside of a grocery store). We had to limit one cup per person because scalpers would buy a bunch, which was fine. However, you can't redeem stars at a licensed store, so people would get pissed. There's no winning in this situation and it's by design.

If they're going to wake up at the butt Crack of dawn and wait in front of the store for us to open, more power to them. Couldn't be me though. 🤷‍♀️

5 is reasonable even though it cleaned you out

I personally think they're kind of jerks. I wish at Christmas the company would limit the number of purchases a person could make at a store in a day, just to give others a fighting chance

Reminds me of the first year we had color changing cups. For anyone who wasn't working then they were a HUGE. DEAL. Everybody wanted one of these things, it was like the GD unicorn frappuccino again.

Our store got two sets of cups. Two shifts got them before they went on the floor. Then it was a week of "do you have color changing cups? do you have color changing cups?" Over and over and over again.

After that our manager forbid us from buying stuff till it had been available for a week.
