How many times has a customer ordered a cappuccino and you go back to make it, and when they ask why it feels light and look in the cup to see mostly foam, they get upset and say "what is this..?"
I'm asking because this is the second time someone ordered a cappuccino and was expecting it to be some type of latte, but was disappointed to realize it was mostly foam and shots and gave it back. Then they ordered an actual latte.
Who else..???

i had this happen a couple weeks ago. a customer mobile ordered a cappuccino and when they picked it up they said “this feels like there’s nothing in there” with an annoyed tone and then they got even more annoyed when they took the lid off and saw that it had deflated a bit since it had been sitting there for over ten minutes. she was like “you didn’t even fill it all the way?” i don’t get why we even allow people to mobile order cappuccinos

Honestly half of our menu goes bad (or doesn't look right) if you mobile order it and don't pick it up right away.

There’s a regular at my store that gets an almond milk cappuccino delivered almost everyday and I always wonder what it even looks like by the time it gets to them.

No foam cappuccinos. All foam lattes. I'm just convinced our customers literally don't know what theyre ordering and take it out on us

I blame those gas station coffee machines that spit out sugar water and call it a "cappuccino."
My favorite is when someone tries to order a cappuccino without foam. It's actually happened twice as far as I can remember.
People just have no idea what they're drinking. The couple times both our espresso machines have gone down we inevitably get "Well, I see your sign says you can't make espresso drinks... but can I get a white mocha?"
No. No you cannot.

my coworker got handed back a cappuccino because “it feels like it’s empty!” that’s the point, cheryl. just say you want a latte for gods sake

every day! to the point that I follow every cappuccino order with “dry or wet?” just to see what page we need to be on 😂

We have a guy who comes every morning and orders a cappuccino. We all know he means a latte- for this exact reason. So we type it in as a cappuccino and make a latte 🤦🏼♀️

no for real this lady got a triple shot cappuccino and i made it correctly. she asked me why it was so empty and i literally just made her a triple shot latte and she said it was good, like do they even know what they’re ordering??

If they order a cappuccino larger than a tall size, i assume they don’t have a clue what they’re ordering.

that’s not necessarily true i had a regular who would come in and order two venti extra dry cappuccinos and was always happy with them when i made them.
