Shift Manager Didn’t Show Up for Open (self.starbucksbaristas)

My store was closed for the weekend (not sure why), and on the door it says we are reopening today.
I showed up on time and no one else was here (GFS let me in). I’m not sure what to do since mobile orders are on (we should probably be open?) and we are getting orders.
I crossed out the “we are reopening today” and put up a sign that says to let another store know about your mobile order which you can’t pick up.
I sent a message to the store manager but haven’t gotten a response.
Edit: Shift manager slept in 😅

You were just doing you best with what was dealt to you, it’s November. At least you didn’t just drive away. Did you end up leaving?

No, I ended up staying for an hour until someone finally showed up. I live 40 minutes away and walk (plus bad weather) so I didn’t want to end up missing the shift.

The only thing you can do is wait, especially since you’ve already tried contacting the SM. I’ve been there before where the opening shift didn’t show up, I just had to wait until someone else with keys showed up.

If you’re in the store alone, just make sure you’re safe! Weird that you closed for the weekend, hopefully everyone is alright :/

If you’re still there alone, there might be business cards or something that have your DM’s number on them and you can try giving them a call?
