i am a newbie and i had to learn the hard way. not knowing how to work as a team and then fully being thrown into it and having to figure shit out was the only was i could succeed. it's very frustrating knowing that the new ppl are still timid but this isn't the type of job where that's going to fly 24/7.

i say that the newbies u work with learn by doing. isn't there any way u can talk to ur SSV about this? don't overwork urself to the point of exhaustion to compensate for other ppl not being able to pull their own weight!

I could totally talk to my SSV about this. But honestly, she's stressed as it is, and the staffing issue isn't something that's her fault yk?

You're absolutely right, you gotta get a loud voice when you're handling sbux coworkers 😂

I think that’s more of an SM conversation than an SSV conversation tbh

You really just have to recognize that's not your fault. If anything you should have enough people to cover other's shifts incase they do leave. My manager works 50+ hours some weeks. I don't give a fuck lol. I proudly tell him every week I can't work over 25 hours nor be alone for 3 hours and close the entire store at the same time.

Being new is not any excuse. They need to multi task sooner rather than later. Take your 10s they will have to figure it out during that time. And remember it’s only coffee so trying not to be so hard on yourself.
