We had really good tips one Sunday when it was 3 people for most of the day (really freaking exhausting) went in Monday to see a note that said someone stole our tips towards the end of the night and I almost started crying because after like 6 we don't get any tips so they basically stole everything. We're still recovering and haven't made tips over a dollar in like a month now

About how much are baristas being tipped? I worked at a cafe Starbucks in a gayborhood and we got about $110-120 a week each. Worst I got was working a drive thru and it was $25-$40 a week.

Ugh I wish. I work at a BUSY store (we make about $8,000-$10,000) in sales every day and we make $16 if 40 hrs are worked, which nobody gets to. A lot of our customers ask to pay tip on card though and it’s so tempting to say “oh our company doesn’t care about us enough”

No but every year they do give stocks. You just have to accept them and once they mature you can sell them off(takes about 1-2 years)

Not at all. But don't worry!!! Kevin Johnson will collect his big fat bonus as he sits in his comfy office chair by the fire and sipping on not starbucks brand coffee because he deserves quality beverages all while we get hot coffee thrown at us for taking too long because there's mobile orders coming in 7x the rate of cafe orders since there's no limit and we're taking too long. 😇😇😇

No, but one year maybe about 4-5 years ago now they did give partners a “bonus” and the amount was also dependent on how long you had been a partner for. But it was literally the only year they’ve done anything like that at least in my almost 12 years with the company.

I was a partner 2004-2014, we got that Christmas bonus in 2008 then met with the 4-1 Investment match and before that we always got stuff like iPads or gift certs. They don’t give anything to baristas now except permission for casual attire.
