Okay so on the 10th I had closed and felt really light headed and nauseous, it didn’t go away the next day so I called out and was “quarantined” for 10 days and i was told from my shift that I would be paid but am just curious if that is true or not. My SM is very anal and don’t want to get into it with her. Please let me know!!

If you’ve disclosed your vaccination status (don’t have to be vaccinated just have to tell your manager whether you are or not) you’re eligible for isolation pay for up to 3 times you have to isolate (this 10-day period would count as 1 round), and you’ll be paid for any shifts you were scheduled for. It would show up on your time card as “catastrophe pay.” If you haven’t disclosed or have already used your 3 rounds you’re not eligible for pay. You can return to work before the 10 days is up if you have a doctors note confirming the symptoms are not related to covid.

I got paid and I didn’t disclose my status. They only paid after being threatened with legal recourse.
