Damn that is a sticky situation. I don’t have any advice other than keep advocating for the breaks you are entitled to if this person does become an SSV. Your work shouldn’t suffer because of personal issues, and if the potential ssv tries to treat you poorly you can complain. I would try and wait it out, people who cause big drama like this usually end up leaving in my experience.
