Last year mine was honestly awesome. Busy in the morning with husbands going to bux trying to remember their wives orders while their families are cooking. Lots of customers in pjs and really generous tips. Yea it was busy but even during covid people were generally nicer. Plus I get sick joy out of telling customers who come in dt after close "hi guys Im so sorry but we closed early tonight so the baristas could go celebrate the holiday with their families! Happy Thanksgiving!" Always makes em feel bad lol

Last year I opened on thanksgiving and worked until probably 9. It was the slowest I have ever seen Starbucks. It was wonderful.

My store is closed this year, but I did work Thanksgiving last year. I had an 8hr shift and made no more than 50 drinks throughout my shift. It was so slow I was detail cleaning the POS screens 🙃 one of our regulars also came in and gave each barista working a goodie bag and $30! also left a hefty tip in the jar for everyone who wasn’t there :) he didn’t even buy anything

I worked Canadian thanksgiving this year and it was pretty busy ngl.

they offered us 18$ an hour for thanksgiving , i wanted to work the AM but wasn’t scheduled

I’m working today as an SSV and it’s a fucking nightmare. We had a lady come back in and help out about 4 hrs after she left, which we were sooooo thankful for

I worked it two years ago and it was really busy in the morning but pretty slow the rest of the day

So last year was mid-covid time, so it wasnt too busy. But it past years its one of the busiest days, and with how things have been you can probably expect it to be pretty nonstop during the day. Tips are usually really good tho!
