I don't know of any employer that does that, but I may be wrong.
Also, stating the obvious but: calling in screws everyone over and should be avoided at all costs. Do it if you need to you need to, but if not its probably the fastest way to get people to hate you (that said, coming in sick and coughing on them is typically frowned upon too. So stay home if needed)
