Maybe I was wrong about my store and unionizing. (self.starbucksbaristas)

No one told me my store was out of 2% milk before i came in.

We're scheduled for a clean play tonight (day before Thanksgiving, really...thanks /s)

The two other employees doing the clean play have never done one before, so they will have to be trained on every task.

We're down a person, who happens to be a ssv, and there aren't any other ssv's who could cover, which means all the shift stuff falls to me.

There's a department and food count today.

We're out of so much stuff i question whether or not our profit margin justifies out utility and labor costs for us to stay open.

Our store is developing a $1 but thank god right now they are out of school and we only have to deal with entitled affluent shoppers.

We're busy as hell.

I don't know if any of that would be alleviated with a union, but I'm damn sure an increase in wages would at least make it more worthwhile to deal with all this shit.

You can alway quit the stupid Starbucks. Sad part is… it is same no matter where you would go in quick-serve or retail.

Are you an SSV? If you aren’t your store should have closed. If you are, I hate to say it, but you only need one SSV per shift. It sounds to me your store is just poorly run.

I am, but to go from being able to be off the play doing clean play tasks to having to run the play/shift while still trying to get some of them done is a pain in the ass.

I know we only need one, but to go down a person in general sucks ass, to go down one of our most experienced night crew partners who i could have at least split the shift tasks with who was also technically our pre-closer sucks (to quote South Park the Movie) big floppy donkey dick.

Also though, for all that stuff to occur on one day, yes. I would agree that yesterday was a poorly organized and run shift before it even began.
