Pike for Iced Coffee (self.starbucksbaristas)

I was taught 4 scoops of pike brewed on a half as an alternative for the bags of Iced coffee. Two different managers dis it that way. My manager i have now said to someone the other day 3 scoops brewed on a half. Which one is correct?

I would not use Pike. Lol. Maybe Siren's Blend or Guatemala Antigua (the best was Kenya or Ethiopia, I miss them in the store 😔). Believe it or not, before Iced Coffee Blend /Terrazza Blend was invented, they used Italian Roast. A full batch is bigger than what's in that iced coffee packet. Maybe go with 3 scoops?

I think it depends on how your machine is calibrated. Some stores use 4 scoops for a full batch batch some do 3. Just use what you would for a full batch, but set on half to brew.
A dark roast would probably work better than Pike though.
