So this morning I went a location near my in-laws and went inside to order. While ordering the barista basically told me I should have ordered ahead because I was getting a traveler, I know this has a wait and I absolutely do not mind waiting I’m understanding because I work at a busy store as well. When I gave her my numbers she was saying how crazy it was state to state and coming off as rude. As I sit here I can here her saying the same thing to other customers about how they should have mobile ordered instead of coming inside. I understand it’s a crazy day but you shouldn’t tell people what to do.

At my store we ask customers to call the store ahead of time to order travelers so we can plan around it. That being said, if someone walks in for a traveler, we tell them it might take a bit and just make it.

That’s so strange to me especially telling customers they should’ve ordered mobile. The app can be really wacky anyway

As a barista, I fully support and encourage reporting other stores to corporate. Bad service reflects on all of us and makes things harder on all of us. We can all do better and sometimes just need a little coaching. We don't know what we don't know and can't improve our service if we don't know there is a problem.

I would never encourage ordering travelers mobile bc if there are a lot of drinks ahead in mobile/cafe/delivery, it can take a long time to get to the sticker for the traveler. By then it may have been like 20 minutes since the customer put in the order for the traveler and they might show up for it as we're making it and have to wait even longer....

I'd actually recommend anyone ordering a traveler to come in person or call ahead on the phone and then pay when they get there, that's been the smoothest way to order in my experience

Um no absolutely travlers take time and if you could call ahead that would be perfect but if your willing to wait then that's fine. As for everyone else that's just rude and ridiculous unless your a mobile only store which as far as I'm aware there's only a few testers of those then no she can take their order.
