I’ve had SO many customers come back with their drink refusing to drink it for this exact reason. Explaining it seemingly never helps

This happens bc the soy milk curdles when poured into steaming hot espresso. Idk why Starbucks doesn’t brew over ice to prevent this. You have to temper the milk. This is why I request my shots brewed over ice otherwise sometimes it’s so bad that it sours the milk!

yeah, that's why I shake it like crazy and STILL don't use the last bit left at the bottom of the carton-- it's always just soy sediment 😬

This happens with the Pacific Almond milk and out cold brew of all things at a local coffee shop I’m KCMO. Have had a number try to return and get a refund even though they order it constantly.
