were a very busy drive thru+cafe store and my manager scheduled us w 4 ppl for the first five hours thru peak (self.starbucksbaristas)

im legit at my fucking limit. the schedule is getting worse and worse. me and all my coworkers want to walk out.

Go slower, If they can see that you guys can keep the times low they will always schedule less. I take my sweet time and let things build up

literally today was so bad nobody gave a shit ab drive times lol. my manager never shows up for days were short staffed

Imo it's ridiculous to be worried about drive times at *any* store right now, and if your management is making you worried, then that management is out of their minds, because all that's going to accomplish is burnout. It's gonna get so bad baristas are just gonna erupt into flames 😣

Do low drive times give the higher ups bonuses? I refuse to do extra work so someone can get more money

I'm really not sure on this tbh, and I've seen partners and SSVs say both yes and no, but I haven't been able to substantiate either way. What I do know is that DMs will give SMs a lot of flack for not having low drive times, and I've also seen SMs get really competitive with other SMs in the district over how low their drive times are in comparison with other stores. I 100% feel you though, I wouldn't want to do it either, especially if my team is not going to get any recognition for it

seems like schedules are getting bad everywhere, bc i had the same problem today and almost walked out twice.
