I was at work today and I went over to get a nitro & our nitro station is right at hand off & I hear a lady nicely ask for one more straw & I nicely let her know that there are some straws right there that she can grab. When I looked at her I immediately got the feeling like I KNOW WHO YOU ARE & then I looked at the name on her order & it was Molly, so I look at her again & then think to myself if this who I think it is!!! So I lean in & say “I don’t mean to bother you but are you Molly Shannon”? She says yes & I immediately get giddy inside but keep my composure & tell her how much I love her & how Mary Katherine Gallagher is my all time favorite characters of hers from SNL. It was a quick interaction but she was the absolute sweetest ever! I know it sounds silly, but since moving to California you always have that thought of ohh maybe I’ll met someone famous but never think that you actually will & meeting her today in the quick little interaction was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of 2021 for me!
