ahh that sucks cuz tbh hands on practice is the best way to learn. if you ever have a shift that’s on the slower side, i suggest asking your ssv to get some bar time and hopefully they’ll be nice and say yes. Lil tip is grande and tal hot and iced are the same: 1 shot, 3 pumps for tall. 2 shots, 4 pumps for grande. the venti is what might stump you. venti hot: 2 shots, 5 pumps. venti iced: 3 shots, 6 pumps bc the cup is bigger. the register also has the recipes, so keep an eye on them whenever you’re ringing!
and for fraps it goes 2,3,4 for all: base, frap roast, pumps/scoops.
special cold brews get 1/2 pumps of hot bar.

It’s weird but it kinda clicks for everyone at a certain point. I think around 2 months personally I was able to memorize it. Also, you can always ask if you are unsure. For the holiday sprinkles think small sprinkles on sugar cookies, pep mochas- chocolate with chocolate, Carmel is the caramelized candy, toasted white mocha- white and red, and chestnut praline is the last available lol. You will get the hang of it

It’s one pump of syrup for every 4oz in standard build drinks. That little trick helps many a green bean I train.
