Not feeling swell but my district manager finally came in yesterday to talk to baristas about mistreatment from manager. Only a year late

Give that manager the shit they deserve. Sure, the rule is minimum 8 hours between shifts, but nobody needs to experience it to know that’s not enough rest!!

Oof I literally just called out the other day for a shift like this. I had to close the night before and come in at 6 the next morning. We had 3 people on the floor from 2 to close. I was exhausted and there was no way I was coming in. I set my alarm to at least let them know in the morning but I slept through it. SM was not happy with me lol.
