Lol for some reason all delivery sandwiches never say warmed on them... sometimes the paninis will say not warmed, but for breakfast sandwiches, we usually warm them 🙃

So idk about y'all but I'm not a fan of Instacart or anything of that matter because OFC they don't have a clue what the customer wants or how they want it.

we've had a string of drivers who just. do not want to contact the customer for a change to their order if we're unable to contact them. 'just throw a giftcard in the bag' no? you have a better connection with the customer, ask what they would like.

and it's usually for items that we have marked out on mobiles already but somehow!! uber was able to order it!

I've had multiple drivers call the person and just hand me their cell and I've had to improvise.

"HI I'm a barista at Starbucks unfortunately were actually out of the ingredients to complete your order is there anything else we can grab for you today?"

Annoying to be thrown into a phonecall with no warning on someone else's cellphone

You can actually edit the price of the Uber order from your tablet. If you don’t have an item.

For uber you can call the customer yourself from getting the number and code from the tablet by clicking in the order the. Contact the customer. I usually call if we're out of an item and ask what else they'd like in place of it and if nothing then they can ask for a refund through uber.

You know, I used to hate these people, but now I just take advantage and put the ungodly number of slow cooking sandwiches together myself while watching everything else in flames around me 🙂
