my store has to close early this week (self.starbucksbaristas)

and boy am i not looking forward to people blaming me/my coworkers personally for it. like sorry, this place is so shitty that all our closing shift leads save for one who can only work 3 days a week until 7pm quit. so yeah, we're closing early because we literally have no one to run the store. and we're all getting shorted hours now because of it so we really dont give a fuck about your need for 8 frappucinnos at 8:50 pm.
we have this couple that will always come up 5 minutes to our usual closing time and if we close early they like. scream and yell at us through the window, we have people that get out of their cars to knock on the dt window, we've had people banging on the doors so hard we thought the glass would break. cant wait for a whole week of this
im hoping the sm lets us put some kind of signage about it

You guys can try putting cones out in the drive thru… That being said, my store did that for 3 weeks (closed at 12pm everyday because we trained 12 new hires in the district at our store) & there were instances where people still threw the cones to the side and banged on our drive thru window.

yeahhh we've put the metal signs on the drive thru to stop people and they just get out and move em too. im gonna see if we can like. hang a sign on the dt board/the windos that we're closing at 7
