Blending café food in blenders are prohibited, please don’t try or request this—it gunks up the machines ☹️

bender was washed throughly afterwards! it’s all satire
flamingavocados 5 points 1y ago
I don’t think customers would view it as satire tho

Hmm I was told that as long as you can buy it from Starbucks, anything can go in the blenders, even food. If I can blend fruit inclusions in the blenders I don’t see why I can’t blend a banana bread?

But then again, maybe it’s just fruit inclusions?

my shift has worked with SB for over a year and tells me abt all kinds of thinks he’s blended. i assume as long as e blender is cleaned, it’s ok?

That’s what I would assume too? If the blenders are super dirty afterward then they would just get cleaned and then sanitized, so I don’t see why it can’t be blended.

Also for anyone coming at me or for OP about cross contamination, you clearly don’t read and you’re an ass, cus SB clearly states there is risk of cross contamination.

Cleaning and sanitizing in the middle of shift would be counterproductive tho. It puts the blender at risk of breaking or possible allergen issues. Not coming at ya, just relaying my thoughts. If it’s not on the app, don’t do it + company policy

D-do you even work at SB? 🤦🏽‍♀️

Did you even read my post about cross contamination? Do you read the small fine print on the menus at SB that clearly states the risk of cross contamination of foods?

I guess CS role isn’t a thing at your store if you work at SB.

Also considering the fact that customers come in with the most insane 10+ customization, blending a banana bread in a blender won’t break it. If a blender can blend ice, and even frozen fruits for smoothies, I’m sure it’ll be fine.
