It's cream cheese icing, dear God leave it in the fridge the entire time, open or not.
FfierceLaw 47 points 1y ago
Yes please, I ordered at a different store, got a room temperature bliss bar that was not blissful
rnaggie53 11 points 1y ago
Brooo I just transferred & at my old store we refrigerated it but at my new one we don’t. I thought I was the weird one. It’s so gross!!!!
The_Infinite_Doctor 9 points 1y ago
It's up there with thawing egg bites under the oven (seriously never do this either.)
rnaggie53 2 points 1y ago
My new store does this all the time🤭
Dangitkayla 67 points 1y ago
i think that’s right, have you seen bliss bars that have been out all day 😷
Pete-_-Zahut 26 points 1y ago
Yeah, I'm not surprised they changed the unrefrigerated date. Shii was nasty.
Sirmarchboy22 25 points 1y ago
Snowmen are 2 weeks, I dont think they changed cranberry blind bars though, my sm has always told me they need to be refrigerated
Sirmarchboy22 25 points 1y ago
ALSO: FYI FOR SSV when doing the 3 hour or the 18 hour pull if you click edit like to change the amount your pulling, it shows how long those items are good for.
Heythere_Ambear 9 points 1y ago
Whaaaaa? Seriously. How have I missed this? All of our shifts have been labeling them two days out 🤣 I mean they sell so quickly we don’t have them for two days, let alone two weeks
Sirmarchboy22 7 points 1y ago
Yeah! Same here lol. I remember from last year they were two weeks and we were individually labeling and putting them on the shelves. It's in a small spot but it does show you!
mrsnataliehooper 1 points 1y ago
Definitely thought we were talking about egg bites still for a second and panicked that i had been labelling them wrong my whole time here at the bux hahahah
Rumblebee1020 7 points 1y ago
Snowmen are 12 days, I just trained a green bean on this today.
here_forthefun -1 points 1y ago
Snowman cookies are 10 days
boxinghamster16 20 points 1y ago
It says on the box for both. Cranberry bliss bars are 2 days out of the fridge, a week in. Snowman cookies are 12 days I believe, I always check on the box for that one cuz we don't sell a lot.
hmmyeahrightokaythen 1 points 1y ago
This is the way.
Very-_-Disappointing 12 points 1y ago
For the record, I am not a shift, and I have never seen the supposed resources on it, *but* I was told it’s 1 week unopened in the fridge, but 2 days once opened. We always keep them in the fridge. This is just what a shift told me.
dfarner 10 points 1y ago
Don’t they stay in the refrigerator all the time?
Pete-_-Zahut 6 points 1y ago
They should. However, if you want to sell them out of the display for whatever reason, they last 24 hours (according to my SM)
kimememememe 12 points 1y ago
Selling the display food 🤢 sometimes customers come by when we’re out of an item but haven’t pulled it from the case and *insist* they want the display case item. No honey, you really really don’t.
Pete-_-Zahut 3 points 1y ago
Huh? I'm not saying to sell out of the display. But if, for whatever reason, your store does, they last for 24 hours.
kimememememe 1 points 1y ago
Noooo don’t worry I’m not saying you do!! I’m just expressing disgust at the thought of selling food out of the display case
dfarner 3 points 1y ago
We left ours in the fridge with the sandwiches. They were good for two days after the box was opened
mysterious_yams 7 points 1y ago
Bliss bars say on the big box. 2 days ambient and 7 refrigerated
Ok-Mix-5129 6 points 1y ago
Snowman cookies are 12 days and bliss bars are two days in the system out of freezer
demigirlhailee 5 points 1y ago
as a licensed store lead, the only resource u can find on the bliss bars is that they are the same as most other pastries, 3 hours to thaw, 2 days if unopened, and end of day once opened. snowman cookies are 12 days.

EDIT: found a more detailed listing. unrefrigerated, CBB are 2 days unopened. refrigerated, they're 7 days
mollythewiz 5 points 1y ago
y’all take them out of the fridge?!??
Pete-_-Zahut 5 points 1y ago
No
Bhaisaab86 2 points 1y ago
Technically any pastry that is opened is only good for one day. So if there’s a package of cake pops and you only sold one, the other two are done at the end of the night. They’re only 2 day if they’re sealed. But who actually does this? Lol
Pete-_-Zahut 2 points 1y ago
My store does...
Bhaisaab86 1 points 1y ago
I’m the only one at my store who does it. And I get scolded by some people for it.
Pete-_-Zahut 2 points 1y ago
It's a policy/health thing. Stand your ground, and don't let your coworkers boss you around. You're in the right, and I'm sure your SM, DM, or external Starbucks resources will back you up on this if needed.

Seattle partner here (our store is *all* about standards, and corporate is so far up our bums you can see it through our teeth 😭) :

The snowman cookies have dating instructions printed on the box, as do cranberry bliss bars. Also, don’t ever just take what another partner, your SSV, or even your SM say about a standard as 100% truth. Assume the best, but understand that anyone can misunderstand things. Partner Hub is your friend! It will always have the most updated standards on everything from drink builds to cleaning procedures, all you have to do is hit that search bar.

Snowman cookies are good for 12 days thawed as long as they remain in the wrapper. Once they leave the wrapper they get 2 days like all the other pastries (they shouldn’t really be sitting on trays unwrapped anyway, they’re like lemon loaves and are unwrapped only before throwing it in a paper bag and handing it to a customer).

Cranberry bliss bars should not be unrefrigerated! They are made with cream cheese which is dairy and a time/temperature controlled item! I believe they are good for 1 week in the box and 2 days once opened (but even opened should be stored in the refrigerator; we keep our open packs in the warming fridge with the sandwiches).

Good luck to you!
keegsdefense 2 points 1y ago
Yeah super confused on a lot of these answers. If you check the box it also tells you how long the unrefrigerated stuff is good for. I actually couldn’t find a standard for the bliss bar this year so I checked the box and it says two days. The snowman cookies are also good for 12 days, or at least that’s what the box said. I always thought it was strange but I couldn’t find the standard and I don’t trust my SM.
Pete-_-Zahut 1 points 1y ago
Right!? It's very inconsistent. We would always follow what the box says too, but out of the blue, my SM said it changed? But where does it say it changed?
croissantboyy 1 points 1y ago
it will almost always say the expiration once thawed on the box in the freezer that they're boulder from
empidge 1 points 1y ago
i always wondered about this but from previous negative experiences i have stopped asking questions about what we do with things and just go with the flow, whenever anyone opens up the bliss bar packages they take ALL of them out the box and put them in the pastry box with cake pops and muffins and we don’t open more until all those are gone. when the bliss bars are pulled they sit on the pastry rack with all the other frozen pastries instead of in the fridge with the sandwiches. we only keep two boxes of bliss bars in our RTDE and pull from there last so literally ALL our bliss bars are room temperature.. haha..

edit: spelling error
lewabwee 1 points 1y ago
You can find the correct answer for these questions on the boxes of the product. I don’t know how long snowman cookies are good refrigerated but they’re 12 days thawed. Cranberry bliss bars are 2 days thawed and 7 in the fridge.
romanianhopscotch 1 points 1y ago
I’m pretty sure it’s 2 days after you open the plastic seal and a week unopened. Both being refrigerated. Always refrigerated.

The bliss bars have cream cheese. Not refrigerating it for an extended period is a bad idea.
spboi8 -5 points 1y ago
The bliss has to stay refrigerated. And good for 2days.. snowman are good for 2days also. When In doubt refer to the IPAD store Resources
