Closing Kiosk (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by rterrebo
I'm closing every night this week and in dreading it because I'm not sure how to do or clean most of everything in my kiosk.

If any of you have encouraging words, I would love to hear them. Lol

i would say remember to not forget to ask for help. your entire team should be helping you get stuff done as well. not just you. backups, cleaning, doing mats, doing bathrooms, brewing coffee, etc, is far too much to do on your own. always remember to ask for ur coworkers to help u do backups so u can focus on the rest ! Also doing closing stuff as early as you are able to is the best way to get everything done in time

I’m in a similar boat! Been closing less than a month now. Ive found starting as early as possible helps. I usually make a final pike place at 6:30, Kiosk closes at 7:30, and sanitize/wash all the parts at the brewing station. I clean the drains around 5:00, if I’m lucky. I start refilling on whips/refreshers and day dotting everything I can before officially closing. Even still, it takes awhile, especially if you are the only person working- a customer will always interrupt. Either way, keep your cool and I’m sure you’ll do great!
