I don’t understand how they can say we don’t have enough partners and then not schedule people. Starbucks is making peak money right now.

This is being done specfically to AVOID unionization.. there's a reason this is inexplicably happening. Get the old blood out and get a bunch of newbies in who don't care as much. It's disgusting. My manager KNEW I needed more hours but hired a fuckload of people instead and they got cut :')

My availability is Thurs-Sun (usually get 25-30 hours) - only got a 5.75 hr shift on Sunday 🤪

There is something called constructive termination when your hours are cut like that.

I'm actually getting more than normal recently, with a few new hires! It seems like my Store is an exception though😳

Went from 35 to over 50. Im a shift and we went from 7 shifts to 3 🥲. Weve been trying to hire shifts for months now and no applications, and because of no one applying for shifts anywhere in our area they wont even let us transfer anyone. Fun times 🙃

From usually 25-28 hours, to now 14-18. Literally only working like 3 days a week. My rent is almost $2000 and I had to pay late last month and probably again this month because I can’t afford my half anymore.

I wish I was given less hours. Requested an availability change because I no longer need the hours but still enjoy working here (Starbucks is my side gig) and according to my GM "You must be available for 20 hours a week" even though ideally, I would like to only work maybe 15 at the most to help out and not be overwhelmed by working two jobs. SO he took off a day for me but I'm still having to work 4 days :/

i know that at my store the number of hours is relative to the sales made. maybe that makes a difference?

Mine were cut because of our DM for 2 weeks but my SM helped me pick up a shift at a nearby store so i only lost maybe 2 hrs
