Nothing is more embarrassing than a green bean asking you how to make a drink that requires technique and you absolutely fucking it up in front of them. matcha green tea lattes you suck

One time the blender got stuck on the sprayer and I was drenched in water in front of everyone in café 😤
BuffyBoltonVampFlayr 8 points 1y ago
This happened to me like every 1.5 weeks no lie. Our sprayer was such an asshole
fyiava 2 points 1y ago

dallizzlee 2 points 1y ago

I found the best way to steam Matcha Tea Lattes is to rotate the pitcher while it’s steaming so you get aggressive changes in the direction the milk steams so it’ll overlap the matcha on top.

Anything you miss just sticks to the steamer

Noted! Will definitely give it a shot. Thank you <3

I just made my first matcha latte the other day and while a little stuck, not a lot, and I was completely faking, so win. (Month> old green bean)
Ashesremindme 1 points 1y ago
This sounds counterintuitive, but I swear it works. If you put the matcha in first before the milk and then steam it, it blends in beautifully. I used to do it milk first then matcha because logic says the other way, the powder would be clumped at the bottom under the milk and not blend in, but then someone told me to try it the other way and I was amazed how well it worked.

If that's the most embarrassment you experience then you have a great life.

For once I am thankful to feel invalidated
drinkliquidclocks 6 points 1y ago
What exactly do you do to the matcha latte that requires technique? Maybe we have different types of machines or I've been doing something wrong lol
taebunz 2 points 1y ago
I'm embarrassed anytime someone ask me how to do a cappuccino. I can NEVER get the foam foamy :(
neonphoenixslayer [OP] 2 points 1y ago
Das okay it takes time! I aerate it till it rises and foams to the line above and till the temp is at a 100 degrees. Then I put the pitcher down and let the steam wand do it’s magic :)

mayalynn007 7 points 1y ago
Captain Barstar is amazing and I will be using that at work tomorrow lol
Captain_Auburn_Beard 1 points 1y ago
There is no technique I’m not wrong? For hot you throw matcha in there before u steam and for iced you just shake it like a tea… literally no technique lol
DraconidZinnia 1 points 1y ago
Wait no I'm genuinely confused because I was never taught a technique for them, what is it? Is it for both hot and iced ones?
Captain_Auburn_Beard 1 points 1y ago
There is no technique. Just throw matcha in before u steam, and shake for iced. That’s it
DraconidZinnia 1 points 1y ago
...I'd rather OP tell me, because they seem to better know what they're doing.
