I hate it when they stand there and just STARE at me. Makes me so uncomfortable

It's as if they have no empathy or awareness. Also no trust. If they're going to be that worried, I wish they would just make it themselves at home so they can know it's the way they want it. But no, they pay $7 to stare at a teenager making it

I did this my first time I was ordering. I remember I stumbled on my words because I got really nervous ordering for the first time. After I paid for my drink, they started making it. I kinda froze, didn't know what to do, just watched a little bit, but then I realized how weird I looked, and sat down and waited. Kind of weird how no one else has the awareness to realize that it's uncomfortable to the barista.

Whenever people do this, it high-key gives me anxiety
