Can your manager/district manager know where and when you use your partner code? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I am currently in isolation due to covid but I want to give my friend my partner code to pick up some stuff for me. Will my manager/district manager be notified that I used my partner code? Is that logged somewhere?

It would be better if you mobile order it and have them pick it up. You can attach your discount to your account. That way you are still the one ordering it but your friend can pick it up for you no problem

You need to change the setting on your Starbucks account on a computer/desktop. The settings to change it aren’t available on the app.

Those setting can also be changed from your phone’s web browser, you might just have to change the view to desktop mode

It's better to mobile and have that friend pick it up. I've heard people can get fired if they're friends use their numbers.

Yea. If anyone else uses your number and you get caught you can get fired. Also if you use your discount and someone other than you pays for the purchase is cause for termination. I’d rather not risk it tbh. It’s really not worth it.

I would be wary of this bc the policy with using partner numbers is to ask for ID to confirm the person using the numbers is actually a partner, not all stores actually stick to this but it really depends on who’s on register. Im not sure exactly how the SM or DM would see this bc I’m just a barista but it is a transaction in the system so I guess they could technically see it and there would be a record of it. I live in a big city with many locations and I usually expect to get carded when I go to other stores. If it’s found out that someone else is using your partner numbers it could be reported to the DM as well. Idk I wouldn’t risk it unless you’re asking a fellow partner to pick up stuff for you.

They can only track it easily if it’s at a store that your numbers work to open a cash register… otherwise they have to open a district audit to find it
