It's okay if you quit. The job is pretty overwhelming and sometimes it's just better to try somewhere else. The issue may not be resolved by transferring, you are correct, but also it might be! Every store is different.

That being said, you can also try speaking to your manager about scheduling you for less hours. Starting out at Starbucks is a lot to learn in a very short period of time, they should understand if you're a little overwhelmed and need some time to breathe. You can also request a couple personal days off (unpaid) to take a breather as well.

Request time off, talk with your manager in person as well. Problems don't get fixed by quitting 🙂

Tell your manager. If it’s 6 days in 1 week that’s not okay. If it wraps like Friday-Wednesday they might not realize it. It happened to me and I complained. My manager let me know nothing in their software lets them know if this happens. I just ended up swapping shifts with someone for a day later in the week.
