i believe you would use full pumps for modifications and half pumps for standard recipe

This is a tricky one. If a customer ordered the VSC cold brew and said “can you add caramel syrup to that?” It would be the same as the original recipe. So if we’re using half pumps, it’s 4 vanilla and 4 caramel.

If the person specified the number of pumps they want, I always give a standard full pump. So if they ordered that same drink and said “can I also add 1 pump of caramel?” I would give them one full size pump. That’s just because I assume most customers don’t know about the half pump situation and I don’t want to over complicate things. The half / full pump thing is flawed, and the main reason most drinks don’t taste the same at different stores

Custies don't know full vs half pumps. They know how it tastes. So if the recipe is half pumps use half pumps
