Anyone else have the newer ovens? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m a 192 partner and am proud of how well I can run the shift while being on warming when I have to (I’m a shift lol) - I knew I was the strongest partner for it today. We were so busy!
But my question regards the ovens. The new ones with pictures on them. Does anyone else have problems with the tongs and grabbing the sandwiches out of the oven without completely ruining the sandwich? Maybe it’s my bad depth perception but the old ovens never gave me this problem. 😵💫

i thought i was the only one with this issue lol! idk what it is but maybe bc the opening is a little smaller that the angel is weird ?? idk but i totally feel u lol

i feel like i’m always more at risk to burn myself with the new ovens! that’s why i always flub it with the sandwiches, i swear. lol

Oh! My store doesn’t have the newer ovens, but I have heard from a couple of transfers that they’re waaaaay deeper than the old ones, so you’re not going crazy!

Omg you’re a shift and you’re allowed to plant yourselves on warming. My store never allows that for shifts. We either have to be DTO or Bar Support

Our store doesn’t typically have enough people to have either of those positions unfortunately. Maybe this is OPs case as well

For me the biggest issue is egg bites or sandwiches cooked open face. I can't get a good angle on the tongues

Problem with the new ovens at our store… the icons don’t work well unless you use brute force. And the door becomes loose and disengages often.

I hate the new ovens. Ours cuts out, tongs don't fit and the touch screen is rubbish and getting food out is a night mare. Miss the old one.
