I struggled with inventory when I started and I asked my manager or a another shift to sit down with me when they did it to watch what they did. Once I did that, it helped me a lot to see but then again I’ve been a shift for 4 months and half of it still confuses me haha

Ask your SM to print a par sheet! The system should know what you use and need on hand. We use a par sheet for inventory at my store (minus food, that's auto shipped to us.)

Par example; you have 1 case of grande hot lids on hand. There are 20 sleeves in a case. Your ~par is 25 sleeves. 20-25= you need ~5 additional sleeves. You can only order in cases, so, you'd order 1 case of grande hot lids.

I'm not sure if your store will have pars for milk. My store is testing out a new system, so our par sheets include milk pars.

P.S. when you go to place orders, the inventory system tells you how many sleeves/eaches are in a case next to the name of the product.

Hope this helps!

From a friendly 3+ year shift.
