Ok. So, we've all had things that customers say. Things that make us fo a double take. Been a Siren slave for a while so I do my best to take it in stride but finally had a full brain shutdown.

*Lady: anything but one, lol
OP: Hiya, what can we do for ya?
Lady: Hello. Can I have a Venti nonfat Breve latte w/Heavy whip?
OP: ..... one more time now?
Lady: Venti nonfat Breve latte made w/ heavy whipping cream.
OP: *rubs temples and writes on cup anyways.*
Ok, what else would you like?
Lady: I'd like a Strawberry Acai with no acai.
OP: .......
Lady: I don't want my daughter to have any caffeine so you NEED to JUST have the strawberry!
OP: Well, the strawberry acai is premade into a juice and already has small amounts of caffeine.
Lady: don't you have a way to separate them? SURELY there's a machine for that...🤨
OP: *rolls with the stupid* sorry, our store doesn't have that machine. Sorry about that! Anything else I can help you with?
Lady: Ugh! Typical. Fine. I'll get there a Pink Drink.
OP: ........ That's made with the Strawberry Acai base.
Lady: This is obviously too hard for you. FINE! I'll get her a tall Strawberries and cream frappuccino. But hold the Strawberries. She's allergic.

I mean, technically, that would be a latte made with half nonfat milk, half breve, but of course that's not what the customer means. Oh, and then what the customer said calls for a splash of heavy cream.

I dunno. I dunno the ratio of milk to cream in whole milk. I would estimate it's about 90% milk, 10% cream. So nonfat breve would contain more cream, in that it would be 75% milk, 25% cream. Interesting question, though, and makes me want to look up how much cream is in milk.

This person has like no basic knowledge of the physical properties of liquids lmfao. Like, you can’t separate out caffeine from a mixed liquid. That is not possible lmfao. That’s like accidentally asking for sugar in a cold brew and then being like “can you strain the sugar out”.

when i went to the local cafe and asked if they have decaf chai, they said that the mix is already pre made, so i just went with another decaf drink. my mind didn't even think of "oh but could you make it decaf".

Starbucks refreshers have green coffee extract. The partners at my store tell customers that a refresher has as much caffeine as a soda does.

I have had more than one person who thinks breve is a drink. "I'll have a breve latte with \*whatever milk\*"
"Breve is a milk, so you want a \*whatever milk\* drink?"
"Oh, I order a breve latte at \*whatever place\*, isn't that the drink?" Which, good on the few that have been willing to explain WHY they think whatever they think, I HATE the ones that just yell and refuse to think about it or explain. But yeah, from those willing to discuss it I have learned that they are not having the breve portion of the drink explained to them.

I asked my coworker just the other day if the order she took for drive had Ashton in the van. They ordered 12 Fraps 5 min before closing 😢 . Of course my coworker is 17 and looked at me like I was a crazy person as I tried to explain Punk'd to them.

That’s funny. There’s fruit and vegetable juices in the strawberry açaí, but the strawberry flavor comes from white grape juice. The inclusions add a mild flavor but not much.

This is just one of the things I can’t walk away from. I will take however long it takes to explain why that makes no sense. The actual amount of frustration that builds up from all the crazy requests I know that any thing extra will be the thing that makes my little green beans snap.
