We all know customers have weird requests, what's some of the most foul ones you've gotten? I'll start with my top three:

1. It wasn't really the drinks they ordered but what they did with them....At my old store, these two women would come in every Monday evening and order 16 grande almondmilk mochas, 6 venti decaf americanos, and 2 tall PPR coffees. Then take them home, put them in the fridge, and **microwave** them through out the week. And just the idea of a five day old, microwaved mocha sounds so awful to me.

2. Venti pink drink, no coconut milk, sub vanilla sweet cream, & no strawberry inclusions. Out of curiosity I've tried the sweet cream by itself, it tasted like I was eating a spoonful of sugar. Also, at that point would you even be able to taste the strawberry acai??

3. Any latte made with steamed heavy cream, I just know that sh_t is **THICK**

While not technically standard, I have found the pink drinks with vanilla bean, if you blend in cold foam blender on 3, it gets everything mixed in really well. Works well for matcha too.

The word “substitute” is weird. When you say substitute *with*, it actually means the opposite of substitute *for*. So “substitute x for y” means x is used. “substitute x with y” means y is used.

1. Venti caramel macchiato sub sweet cream, 10 pumps of vanilla, and ofc.. extra caramel drizzle

2. tall pike with 10 splenda, 10 stevia, 10 raw sugar, 10 white sugar, with cream

3. lastly.. a venti match green tea cream frap with oatmilk, 3 scoops of matcha(depending on who’s working bc it can’t be ‘too’ green), no classic sub 2&1/2 pumps of liquid cane sugar, extra ice.. after handing off it’s always followed by ‘this isn’t right it’s too green’ or ‘you put and extra half pump’

one couple of girls came in the drive and i told them i’d never seen it ordered and they were like “oh yeah it’s for our keto diet!”
the next time it was ordered i asked if this girl was doing it for the same reason and she said yes😂

We've got a regular who gets a tall chestnut praline with 13 pumps. It's maybe 1/4 milk and espresso, the rest is syrup. We also have a regular who gets a venti strawberry frap with a shot of espresso, 8 pumps classic, and always, Always, calls the pumps "squirts".

I had a lady come in once and order 2 venti matcha lattes with 4 extra scoops of matcha each and not shaken. Yep, not shaken. Just matcha powder floating on top of milk and ice. She stuck a straw in one of them and sipped it then walked out with her drinks.

Worse still, I found out it was my aunts order for her and my cousins(not even 15) and she gets it almost every morning before taking them to school.

A lot of these comments are drinks that include way way *way* too much sugar for people to be consuming.

I legitimately feel bad making those kinds of drinks and handing them out bc I know it’s extremely bad for them and I know they get it every day.

This one lady at my store comes in and orders a tall caramel crunch frap in a venti cup, xxxxxx caramel (half a bottle) and extra whip layered (half the cup) extra crunch topping, extra shots. The drink has to be probably 1,000 calories. I feel bad for her also bc she has told us “luckily I run every day so I can let myself have this!” There’s no way she runs anywhere. I feel like I’m an active participant in her being a really unhealthy person.

Salted caramel mocha frapps made with heavy cream, at least an inch thick layer of caramel on the bottom, in the middle, and on top with extra salt topping blended in as well as on top. And they would send it back if there wasn’t enough caramel drizzle. I used an entire bottle of caramel drizzle on those frapps one day.

Omg I used to have a similar customer when I worked in a grocery sbucks. Her caramel fraps had to have at least an inch of caramel on the bottom plus extra drizzle on top. I always had to bite my tongue cause I wanted to tell her it would probably be cheaper to grab a bottle of caramel sauce from the baking aisle and pop a straw in it...

We had a regular who came in daily sometimes twice and she had her total memorized so if a green bean happened to ring it up wrong she would immediately say “no that’s not my total.” You can imagine how well the price change went.

Her drink is:
Grande cold brew
Splash of heavy cream
18 pumps of sf vanilla (sometimes changed to 20)
Double blended
Venti cup
Dome lid
Sleeve
And God help you if you’re out of plastic straws.

I once had to blend kiwi starfruit, kiwi inclusions, heavy cream, pineapple ginger syrup, and ice then top it with whipped cream.

It took all my focus not to make faces while I made it. This girl was watching me the whole time and got annoyed when I had to use a cappuccino spoon to scoop the icy mess into the cup because it was “taking too long.”

Oh one of those. Unless they ask for it sugar free I don’t even ask them generally. If they say something I’ll explain it’s for consistency so it doesn’t stick in the blender, but usually they don’t say anything.

we have a regular that comes in. orders the same thing. every time .very berry refresher with three single berries. he'll kick up a fuss if you don't make it with 3 single berries, even if you don't have three single berries because you're out. not terrible, but not great either.

will also order a venti iced coffee with heavy cream and 8 pumps of sugar free vanilla. i don't even know how you could drink that. the sfv tastes terrible, and heavy cream?

We just sold a venti strawberry refresher lemonade and a venti pink drink with 12 scoops of strawberries in each. It was a full bag of strawberries in each drink. When they picked up their order it was two unsupervised 8 year old girls.

Fucking “dieting” customers
First off I hate diets, the culture around them, everything.
1 “I’m keto so can I do venti latte 8 pumps sfv and heavy cream”
You are keto, ok but that doesn’t mean you need to drink you fat through hundreds of calories

2 “can I get a small mocha Frappuccino but make it healthy so half milk and half water, extra ice, only half a pump of mocha……with extra Java chips and extra whip cream please”

3 “how many calories is x? Ok what about y? Hmm no, is there anything good with 0 calories? Oh just black coffee? Never mind I’ll just pull through and go home”

The thing I don't get about the "keto" drinks is that the diet is high fat low carb but it's supposed to be *healthy* fats from stuff like fish, nuts, veggies, etc. not dairy products!

Any drink with the milk replaced for heavy crème or sweet crème is an absolute no for me.

So are drinks with 16 pumps of white mocha or any syrup for that matter (yes, I’ve had a drink requested like this), those caramel Frappuccino, macchiatos, etc. with half the bottle of caramel drizzle all around the cup, and lastly, those trenta black cold brews with 6 added shots.

Like seriously, are you guys okay? Do you need a hug?

Once we got an order for a cold brew lemonade with half cold brew and half lemonade.
A couple of us decided to try it later it honestly tasted like Pine fresh with lemon pledge 🤮

I also used to have a customer who everyday ordered a venti Americano with 12 regular sugars and 8 raw sugar's. Not too bad in general, but the most tedious we had to open 20 packages of sugar.

I make my lattes with heavy cream sometimes and it’s surprisingly not thick bc the butterfat melts and thins out. so it’s the consistency of whole milk until it cools down to room temp then it’s disgustingly thick
