Sorry I'm not a very eloquent writer so this may sound a little confusing!
This is also a little specific if ur from my store hello lol
I separated from my store this summer for college but was coming back for a month long winter break and was told I could just reapply by my manager (I should've gone through with an loa but I was a bit shortsighted) and that it would be fine for me to come back and work this winter for a month.
My plans changed and I'm actually coming back for the rest of the year which I thought might be even better company wise.
I went to re-apply a few days ago and my application got rejected almost immediately, I texted a friend and found out there may have been a managerial change and at first I wasn't too concerned and thought maybe since it was a new manager and I know they typically don't hire seasonally or anything they might've just not seen it as viable for me to come work for what originally supposed to be a month, I was pretty bummed out because I really enjoyed working there but I wasn't too worried even if this didn't work out I could look at other Starbucks and winter jobs.
But the past few days I was a little concerned because like I dunno if there was a new manager they might not have known that I would only be supposedly back for that short of a time so I am a bit surprised at the fast rejection and worried maybe it had something to do with my past performance, I thought I left on pretty good terms and was generally on time and all that but I'm also not the most aware or socially adept person all the time. Since I want to look at other Starbucks I would be pretty concerned if it was a performance problem or something else.
But I've also heard of some places not doing re-hires or other things like that, and though my store I think has in the past it's possible that's changed
Is it more likely that this was a re-hire issue or something similar or a personal performance issue? And who would I contact to find out(/should I be trying to contact someone?), since I don't have this new managers email
