I would try and apply for a transfer rather than quitting. Talk to your SM about it. IMO you would have a better chance at transfer than quitting and reapplying

you don’t always have to be there for 6 months, i transferred a little after two! if you have a reason for wanting a transfer that makes sense they’re not super likely to say no. (i just wanted to move to a store closer to home)

have to be there at least 6 months and with no write ups. if you get written up, its 6 months from that date to transfer.
