I lied about working another job and put random references because I knew they weren’t gonna call. Actually I think I lied about everything except my strengths and skills on my resume for Starbucks. Use relatives or if you babysat for someone

I know this is more time-intensive, but seriously: volunteer. Look into places in your area that accept volunteers. Obviously you don't get paid, but find some sort of cause that you can get behind and do well, get acquainted with the people there, and chances are you'll get someone willing to be a reference for you.
