We had to do that. We had a machine down and it was chaos. Fortunately our SM is good about turning off Mobiles when stuff like that happens

We placed a ticket 30 hours ago and our SM has called many times trying to get an update but it is still down. 🙃

It’s funny cause most of our customers just order it the long way. Except for the medicine ball/sick tea/honey citrus mint

Oh and as it broke we got a 25 item delivery order with 18 things needing heated.
I think delivery orders are my least fav so far.
They are paying extra for delivery and I’m sure no thought of or way to tip us.

We just got out second oven back on, it was broken for 2 weeks.... No oven means no peak time...🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

That is true. It did get much calmer once we figured out the 18 items we had to get taken care of for the delivery.
We thought we were gonna loose our second blender the other day and we almost all celebrated 🤣

Omg!! Me similar last Sunday; my first day as shift supervisor: with call outs, pouring Uber deliveries, huge mobile orders (average 5 to 6 drinks per order) and drive thru line that started at our neighbor bank, our lobby was swamped and I had one espresso machine down! I decided to clean it too early. I was about to step down back to trainer!!

At my old store our oven printer was broken and tickets were somehow coming out of my DT bar printer. Was always the worst pulling double smoke bacons and butter croissants just to get to my DT stickers

i’m an SSV and i hate having to ask and justify turning off mobile order to my SM. like i’d rather they just turn off and ask later. so i just start marking shit out so people order somewhere else or just wait in the cafe where they can see we’re busy and can’t say “uhm i mobile ordered”

I guess that’s what we were doing cause we just marked out all our food. I wasn’t remembering that was the same thing.
We end up doing a 3 play semi often and usually have delivery and sometimes mobile off during that too. . . I’m still a green bean but I’m trying to learn quickly

i once had a SSV purposefully turn off an oven during peak to clean it bc we (me and the rest of night crew) “didn’t clean it the night before” … anyways i feel the pain
