Any marker will do, so long as it holds up to the corrosion that is The Siren.

Colors don't matter, many syrups in my store are dated in bright green (may have actually been a highlighter).

I used to carry my own, always went with black. I dunno if they still make them, but sharpie has one that's on a retractable tether, like those key chains. I never lost mine and never let anyone else use it, since it was attached to me. I believe there's a strong correlation there.

Always black. Other colors are garbage to read on some packaging.

I got some off brand ones and they really didn't last as long, also managers had got permanent marker pens cos our store still uses written cup markings, but the pens are too thick for me to write legibly. We don't have any colour restriction except probably not a good idea for red while we have red cups

I have a rainbow assortment at all times, the double ended ones with the fine tip on the one end and the regular tip on the other. I tried other brands and I went right back to Sharpie brand because they didn't feel right. But I've been doing Sharpie art for decades and I love them.

Definitely ask your sm because mine only allows blue.

I occasionally just buy a 5 pack of black ones. Brand/color doesn’t matter
